Not if you do it right. **Book a professional install.** Then follow your aftercare. That is how you help protect your natural hair.

How should you care for your extensions at home?

Accepted Answer

Keep it simple. Use sulfate- and paraben-free shampoo. Do not brush your extensions when they are wet. Keep conditioner off the roots. Use heat protectant. Use a boar bristle brush. Put oil serum on the ends every day. And avoid oceans and pools.

Can I style my hair normally with hair extensions?

Accepted Answer

Yes you can style your hair normally. Your stylist will leave space around the edge of your head so that you can easily tie your hair up and the bonds wont show. You can curl, straighten and blow dry your hair as you normally would. Be sure to always use a heat protectant spray to protect the extensions from damage.

How do I know when it's time to come for my maintenance appointment?

As your hair naturally grows the extension bonds will grow out with it. The average retappe appointment for tape extensions is done between 2-2.5 months.

All the extensions are cut and blended after installation to blend seamlessly with your own hair.

For tape extensions the installation takes 1 hour. For Ktip extensions, it takes 3 hours.

Can you swim while wearing extensions?

Accepted Answer

**It is not recommended.** Pools and oceans can dry out your extensions fast. If you do swim, tie your hair up first. Rinse and care for your hair right after. **Protect your extensions.**

How long does the hair last?

Accepted Answer

For tape extensions the hair can be reused for 7-9 months when properly cared for.  For Ktip extensions the hair is worn for 3 months and not reusable.

Accepted Answer

**Please give 24 hours' notice** if you need to cancel. Otherwise, a $50 fee applies. **All sales are final** because of the nature of our services. Clip-in extensions are refundable only if the hair has not been removed from the packaging, and they must be returned within 7 days of purchase.
