Hair extensions are safe for your hair as long as they are applied by a professional stylist and maintained properly and after care is followed.

Proper aftercare for human hair extensions is crucial to maintaining their longevity, keeping your natural hair healthy, and ensuring they stay looking great.

Some of the main rules are:

1) use only sulfate/paraben free shampoo

2) no brushing the extensions when wet

3) avoid hair in oceans and pools

4) no conditioner on the roots

5) always use heat protectant spray

6) use a boar hair bristle brush

7) use an oil serum everyday on the ends

Yes you can style your hair normally. Your stylist will leave space around the edge of your head so that you can easily tie your hair up and the bonds wont show. You can curl, straighten and blow dry your hair as you normally would. Be sure to always use a heat protectant spray to protect the extensions from damage.

As your hair naturally grows the extension bonds will grow out with it. The average retappe appointment for tape extensions is done between 2-2.5 months.

All the extensions are cut and blended after installation to blend seamlessly with your own hair.

For tape extensions the installation takes 1 hour. For Ktip extensions, it takes 3 hours.

It is not recommended to expose the extensions to pools and oceans as this can cause premature drying of the hair. Always tie up your hair before swimming,.

For tape extensions the hair can be reused for 7-9 months when properly cared for. For Ktip extensions the hair is worn for 3 months and not reusable.
